I started playing piano at age five, and by middle school, I was hooked on jazz and improvisation. The idea of creating music in the moment, shaping sounds I heard in my head, and connecting musically with others captured me early on and never let go.

With a degree in Jazz Piano from Capital University, I jumped straight into a professional career, performing and teaching everything from jazz and fusion to pop, rock, Latin, and funk. Now, at 32, I’m a top-call pianist in Chicago, both locally and on national tours, living my dreams as a dynamic improviser.

Learning to improvise didn’t just transform my music—it transformed me. It took me from a shy teenager to a confident performer and problem-solver, equipped to captivate, entertain, and move people through music.
